L. Gene
DeAgostino is a founding father of the
law firm. The present firm was founded
in 1980 by Ward D. Powers, Conrad D.
Chapman, Allen M. Meyers and L. Gene
DeAgostino. Gene grew up in Flint,
Michigan, and became a permanent Detroit
resident in 1967. He was hired as an
associate attorney by the forerunner of
the present firm and became a Partner in
1973. Gene has spent his entire legal
career with the same law firm. His
practice centers in the areas of closely
held corporate law, representing
numerous small to medium-sized
businesses in the greater Detroit area
and out-of-state. As the law firm’s
senior partner, Gene also serves as
president and senior manager for the
firm. During his long career, Gene has
served as counselor and advisor to
numerous business and personal clients,
who have remained his clients for
decades. Several of his business clients
are now owned and operated by second and
third generation family members.
Honesty, integrity, and first rate legal
services performed expeditiously and for
a fair price, have been the hallmarks of
Gene’s practice for over forty years.
